He's such a doll

I made my way up to the armory this morning to deliver the stew to Deborah, SGT McDowell and the other soldiers. SGT McDowell was away at school but there were still a few guys left behind and they were actually very excited to have some homemade stew for lunch. I also made a card last night to go with the stew.



Deborah and I sat and chatted for a little bit. She wanted to know how I was doing and how things were going (good, I told her). Then she asked if I wanted "something really cute" and I said "sure!" And she pulled this out of a box of goodies:



He comes from Operation Military Kids as part of their Hugs to Go project. It's intended for children of deployed soldiers, but Deborah thought I could use one. I absolutely love the hair!
